1. Data we collect

We collect data you provide when you register, place an order, or contact us (for example, name, email, and the content of your message). We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics. Payment data is processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers when you use a card-based method.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide our services, process orders, communicate with you, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing. Marketing emails, if any, are sent only in line with your choices and applicable law.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site (for example, session, cart, and language), to analyze traffic, and to improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser. Essential cookies are required for core features such as login and security.

4. Recipients and processors

We may share limited data with service providers (hosting, email, payment, support tools) that help us run Liknia. They are contractually or legally required to use data only for those purposes and to protect it. If we are required to disclose information by law, we will do so when permitted or required.

5. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures (including SSL, access controls, and secure development practices) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the service at your own risk within reasonable bounds.

6. Your rights and contact

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Turkey – KVKK (Law No. 6698) disclosure

If you are located in Turkey or if our processing falls within the scope of Turkish law, this section supplements the general information above in line with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (No. 6698, “KVKK”) and the Regulation on the Data Controller’s Obligation to Inform. It is provided in addition to, and not in replacement of, international standards that may also apply. If a provision in this section applies to you, it takes precedence over general statements only to the extent required for compliance with KVKK.

8. Data controller and contact (KVKK)

For personal data processed within the scope of the KVKK, the data controller is the operator of Liknia. Identifying information (trade name, address, e-mail and other contact channels) is published or updated on this website, in particular on the Contact and/or About pages. You may submit written applications regarding your personal data through the contact means we provide; we may request information needed to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.

9. Your rights under Article 11 KVKK

Subject to the conditions set out in the law, you have the right to: learn whether your personal data are processed; request information if they are processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with that purpose; know the third parties to whom data are transferred, in Turkey or abroad; request correction if data are incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction of data; object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated means; request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing; and request notification of third parties to whom data were transferred when correction, erasure, destruction, or anonymization is carried out. You may exercise these rights by contacting us free of charge in principle. We will finalize your request within thirty (30) days at the latest where possible, or explain the reason in writing if we cannot comply. If your application is rejected, the response is insufficient, or you are not answered in time, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with applicable procedures.

10. Authority, transfers, and complaints (Turkey)

The Personal Data Protection Authority of Turkey can be reached online at https://www.kvkk.gov.tr (information and application channels are published there). Where personal data are transferred abroad, we comply with the conditions in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, including your explicit consent or other permitted instruments when required. Technical and administrative measures described elsewhere in this policy are also applied with regard to obligations under Turkish law. International payment and infrastructure providers may process data subject to their own policies and contracts; we select service providers with appropriate safeguards.
